I just had a patron come in looking for a book entitled either "47 Ninjas" or "57 Ninjas," as far as she could recall. The librarian who actually took her question (I was consulted as the in-house Ninja expert) couldn't find anything in our catalog or on Amazon.com, and I am not familiar with this book, though if it is in existence I would like to be; does anybody know anything?

The first thing that came to mind was The 47th Samurai by Hunter (http://www.amazon.com/47th-Samurai-Swagger-Novel-Novels/dp/0743238095), though without more information (genre at least?) of course it is hard to say.

Unfortunately the patron is no longer here, but that does sound like the book she was asking about; I'll be sure to remember it should I see her come in again. I also shared this with the librarian that took her question. – level250geek Dec 11 at 17:03
