I asked a question and received TWO answers that are very helpful.

From reading the FAQ tagged questions, since the info wasn't in the FAQ itself (ahem), I knew to click on the checkmark to mark the question as successfully answered.

However, since both answers are good in different ways (one has a more reputable source while the other has more information) and I'm having trouble choosing between them, I want to mark both of them with a checkmark. Is that allowed?

The checkmark is really for questions that have one-and-only-one correct answer, e.g. what is the title of this book. The truth is that most of the questions on Unshelved Answers don't really fit into this category, so you can just ignore it.

It would be nice if the questioner could "bless" favored answers, but that's not a feature we're given by the engine we're using.

I understand about the constraints, and see the point now. Thanks! – NinaW Jan 11 at 14:35
